"Language Labs: Vocabulary & Words Learning" (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our mobile application "Learn Words Vocabulary Builder" ("Application"), website https://www.atpodcasts.app ("Website"), or any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related or connected thereto (collectively, the “Platform”). Personal Data

Personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number, and demographic information, such as your age, gender, hometown, and interests, that you voluntarily give to us when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Platform, such as registration, user feedback, giveaways, surveys, and reviews. You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind, however your refusal to do so may prevent you from using certain features of the Platform.

For a better experience while using the Platform we collect information about the devices where you install or access the Platform, depending on the permissions you have granted which may include, but are not limited to, operating system, hardware version, device settings, file and software names and types, battery and signal strength, device identifiers, advertisement identifiers, connection information such as the name of your mobile operator or ISP, language and time zone. To access some features of the Platform, you may be required to connect to a third-party account within the Platform (i.e., Google, Facebook, Apple, Twitter). If you do not grant access you will not have the ability to use some of the features on the Platform.

Derivative Data

Information our servers may automatically collect when you access the Platform, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, mobile device information, location, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Website.

With your consent, or with an opportunity for you to withdraw consent, we may share your information with third parties for marketing purposes, as permitted by law.

If you post any public content to the Platform, such content may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside the Platform in perpetuity.

We use a third party advertising company to serve ads when you visit the Platform. This company may use information about your visits to the Platform and other websites that are contained in web cookies to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

Business Partners

We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions you may enjoy.

Other Third Parties

We may share your information with advertisers and investors for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. We may also share your information with such third parties for marketing purposes, as permitted by law.

If we reorganize or sell all or a portion of our assets, undergo a merger, or are acquired by another entity, we may transfer your information to the successor entity. If we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your information would be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party. TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Cookies, Web Beacons, and Tracking Pixels

We use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the Platform to help customize the Platform and improve your experience. When you access the Platform, your personal information is not collected through the use of tracking technology. Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can remove or reject cookies, but be aware that such action could affect the availability and functionality of the Platform. We use third-party software to serve ads on the Platform. This third-party software may use cookies or similar tracking technology to help manage and optimize your online experience with us. Website Analytics

We also partner with selected third-party vendors, such as Google Analytics, to allow tracking technologies and remarketing services on the Platform through the use of first party cookies and third-party cookies, to, among other things, analyze and track users’ use of the Platform, determine the popularity of certain content and better understand online activity. By accessing the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information by these third-party vendors. You are encouraged to review their privacy policies and contact them directly for responses to your questions. We do not transfer personal information to these third-party vendors. In addition, you may access additional controls and opt out of IDFA tracking within the iOS or Android Settings app.
You should be aware that getting a new computer, installing a new browser, upgrading an existing browser, or erasing or otherwise altering your browser’s cookies files may also clear certain opt-out cookies, plug-ins, or settings.

Third-Party Tools

Our Platform uses third-party tools from OpenAI API, which is operated by OpenAI to provide you seamless access to the services offered on the Platform. When you visit various services on the Platform, one or more of these third parties may be informed about which portions of our Platform you have visited. These partners are used to help make Platform more appealing. Use of these services constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO under GDPR laws.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

The Platform contains links to third-party websites and applications of interest, including advertisements and external services, that are not affiliated with us. Once you have used these links to leave the Platform, any information you provide to these third parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy, and we cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of your information. Before visiting and providing any information to any third-party websites, you should inform yourself of the privacy policies and practices (if any) of the third party responsible for that website, and should take those steps necessary to, in your discretion, protect the privacy of your information. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other sites, services or applications that may be linked to or from the Platform.

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.

HOW TO MANAGE OR DELETE USER DATA?

Our application, does not require users to create accounts and does not store personal user data on our servers. As such, there is no user data to delete or manage within our app.

If you have granted any permissions to our app on your iOS or Android device, you can manage or revoke these permissions at any time through your device's settings. Below are instructions on how to manage app permissions on iOS and Android:

For iOS Users:

  1. Go to the Settings app on your device.
  2. Scroll to the list of apps and select "Learn Words Vocabulary Builder."
  3. Adjust the permissions as desired.

If you used "Sign in with Apple":

  1. Visit Apple ID account management.
  2. Click "Sign in."
  3. Select "Learn Words Vocabulary Builder" under "Sign in with Apple."
  4. Click "Stop Using Apple ID" to revoke access.

For Android Users:

  1. Go to the Settings app on your device.
  2. Tap on "Apps" or "Application Manager."
  3. Find and select "Learn Words Vocabulary Builder."
  4. Go to "Permissions," and toggle off any permissions you no longer want the app to have.

Additionally, if you have used your Google account to grant permissions to the app:

  1. Visit Google Account Permissions.
  2. Scroll to "Signing in with Google."
  3. Select "Learn Words Vocabulary Builder."
  4. Click "Remove Access" to revoke permissions.

Please remember, since our app does not collect, store, or transmit personal information, revoking these permissions will not affect user data because our app does not store any. However, it will restrict the app from accessing certain features tied to those permissions.

SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

At no time should you submit sensitive personal information to the Platform. This includes your social security number, bank information, or other sensitive personal information. If you elect to submit such information to us, it will be subject to this Privacy Policy.

POLICY FOR CHILDREN

The Platform is designed for those 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
